Thanks Camden, now for Wembley!

Massive thanks to all who were there at the Purple Turtle, Camden. On a rainy Tuesday night our expectations were far exceeded & we had a brilliant time. Thanks to guest band Hekz who entertained us & helped fantasticly well with the night overall \m/

Next up is Wembley, The Green Man, on Friday April 23rd for the Saxon Forum's "Alternate St.George's Day Bash". All welcome to come along & help us celebrate St.George's Day whilst also raising money for Help For Heroes. Advance tickets available from the Saxon Forum HERE

After that, on Saturday April 24th we're looking forward to getting up to the Mosh4Dosh at The Rigger in Newcastle-U-Lyme, Stoke, helping raise money for Macmillian Trust.

Before that of course we start recording this Friday for the new album (our 3rd official album release) due for September.

Hope to see as many of you as possible at the two April dates. See ya out there!

Cheers!

Thanks Newcastle & Grimsby!

2 awesome gigs this weekend & thank you/horns-up to Newcastle & Grimsby for making us welcome.

At Trillians on Friday it was great to see so many familiar faces from our previous trips to Newcastle with Blaze Bayley & also Michael Schenker. There's a review of the Newcastle gig online already at Riffs Online - thanks to Nig for this. Thanks also to Little Linda (Mayfair Mallzine), Chippy (Radio Teesdale), Simon Colling (NE1FM) & Paul Manuel (Bishop FM). Thanks also to the crazy headbangers who were relentless in their energy & support. Thanks also to the gaffer at Trillians, Steve Jones, & soundman Mark for an awesome job. You are all awesome! Thanks as well to support band Dyinise.

We slept over in the North East on Friday night before waking to Olympic breakfasts & Mixed Grills at the good old Little Chef then as always, it was a pleasure to go to the Yardbirds Club in Grimsby & on Saturday we were made once again very welcome by Robbo & all.... pizza & beer was a fine finish to the night too! Great to see our good friends Mick Ball (where was Rock Pig?) & Ashleigh, Gary & Michelle. Thanks also to support bands Afterdown & Dyinise.

If we've missed anyone out from the thank you's don't be afraid to tell us! We didn't mean to miss you out!

Camden, London (The Purple Turtle) is next up for us on Tuesday before starting recording the new album on Friday. We're given confidence by the brilliant response to the song we've been previewing at live shows this year - I See Red - also featuring in the video from Wizzfest (see previous blog).

Cheers all!

There's photos & some video footage to come, but we wanted to get in early with our thanks & respect to you the fans & also the festival organisers/Metal Hammer magazine for an amazing time at Hammerfest.

Saxon often play a St.George's Day gig but that's not been possible this year, so the members at the band's forum put this alternate event together which is endorsed by Saxon, & invited Fury UK to play. We, of course, are somewhat chuffed to be included! We're looking forward to celebrating St.George's Day with great rock n metal, beer, friends, & all raising money for a very worthy cause. Hope to see you there helping us celebrate!
