SOS takes place over 2 days July 9th & 10th. Friday is the Classic Rock Day headlined by GUN & Saturday is for the metalheads, with former Iron Maiden frontman Blaze Bayley headlining.

For more details visit www.sosfestival.net.
Decent prices for tickets at only £10 for single days & £15 for two days. Free parking, excellent transport links & inexpensive accommodation all within very easy reach.

Thank you Hammerfest!

There's photos & some video footage to come, but we wanted to get in early with our thanks & respect to you the fans & also the festival organisers/Metal Hammer magazine for an amazing time at Hammerfest.

We had an absolute blast the entire time we were there, from arriving on Saturday morning, the amazing reponse when we played our set on 2nd stage at 1pm, meeting fans & press representatives in the afternoon, then partying pretty hard through the night.

Saxon often play a St.George's Day gig but that's not been possible this year, so the members at the band's forum put this alternate event together which is endorsed by Saxon, & invited Fury UK to play. We, of course, are somewhat chuffed to be included! We're looking forward to celebrating St.George's Day with great rock n metal, beer, friends, & all raising money for a very worthy cause. Hope to see you there helping us celebrate!

Hammerfest : update

We have the running order confirmed & this is what our stage looks like for the Saturday. We're on the 2nd stage of the 3 available & a great line-up has been put together :-

13-05 Fury UK

After we've finished playing, we can watch the other bands do their stuff on our stage, leaving plenty of time for us to grab a beer & get ready for headliners Iced Earth over on main stage.

Hope you're looking forward to this as much as we are!

Swindon & Wizzfest : thank you!

What a bloody great time we had at these gigs. Great bunch of people at Swindon, headed up by David Young, the gaffer at the 12 Bar, who always looks after us so well & gets an awesome sound. Our labelmates Nightvision who played an outstanding set. Everyone in the crowd, especially The Touts who were front row as always \m/

Then we were on to Belgium for Wizzfest where we were treated royally by our host Wizz, his partner Caroline & son Adri. Amongst the many people who welcomed us so well we should mention of course the band Wizzard & crew, including Ivan, Bart, Steve. Also Ela who travelled from Germany to see us, Jolanda who travelled from Netherlands, Hamdy & all at Metal-on-rock - can't wait to see the video footage! Again, of course, Nightvision who did the business on stage & partied very capably with us afterwards! Great event, so well run, great fun & well-attended. Recommended!!!!

Video footage as mentioned above is to come, plus plenty of photos we think!
